A juice carton is aseptic packaging which means it goes through this sterilisation process (both the juice and the carton) so that it doesn’t need to be in the fridge or have preservatives in it to stay germ and bacteria free.

Acai and Pomegranate are both considered "Superfruits" because they have high antioxidant levels and ORAC values. The ORAC value of Acai is a bit higher than Pomegranate.

It is not a waste of money to add these berries to your daily diet. They may help in a variety areas, such as reducing inflammation, anti-aging, fighting free radicals, increased energy, lowering cholesterol…

You can find liquid supplements that contain both berries. I would suggest reading up on the product. Viva-Acai is a liquid supplement that can be taken daily and compared to other juices on the market, it doesn’t have an outrageous price tag.

Healthy Alternatives on 18, by BCHS. They don’t sell a lot of produce, but they’ve got some good stuff regardless. There’s a new place on Mall Road called The Vitamin Shoppe. Haven’t been in there, but it might be worth a try. Kroger’s isn’t actually a bad place to look. The Florence kroger doesn’t have the best organic produce section, but the Union or Burlington one should have almost everything you need. If you’re willing to drive 20 miles for groceries, there’s a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market in Cinci, but be sure to bring along a cooler if you go.

Whole Foods is your best bet, looks like there are quite a few in Kentucky

they have a huge selection of vegitarian and vegan foods
